Lending to not-for-profit businesses, microbusinesses, SMEs, charities, social enterprises and other community and voluntary organisations.
Responsible finance providers lend to not-for-profit businesses, microbusinesses, SMEs, charities, social enterprises and other community and voluntary organisations that can’t access finance from high street banks or other providers. Loans can be used to cover a range of companies and issues – so you might look for this type of finance if you’re starting up or even if you’re looking to bridge funding gaps.
* There is some grant funding available
There are currently around 60 responsible finance providers supporting customers in all regions of the UK, with each provider being unique and serving local needs.
The terms are flexible and tailored to your circumstances. As with all other types of funding, it’s important to consider which one may be suited to you based on your requirements and the requirements of the lender.
As well as financing, Not for Profit / Social Enterprise lenders can also offer business support training and advice services.
